Sustainably harvested from the seas off the West Indies and Central America, the Caribbean silk sea sponge is known as the “Hardhead sponge”. 

Because of its fairly hard surface, the Caribbean silk sea sponge is particularly suitable for gentle body massage and skin exfoliation. Fibrous, durable and elastic, it can also be used for facial cleansing, especially of those hard to reach areas around the eyes and nose, demake up, or even as a reusable feminine tampon.

This silk sponge is an inexpensive option, but still perfect for cosmetic or facial use. Also, due to its unique and irregular shape, the Hardhead sea sponge is quite often used for decoration purposes.
